Following
his claim to have found a possible link
between MMR and autism, published in the Lancet in February 1998,
Dr Andrew
Wakefield was questioned at a number
of minuted events. One was called by the
UK's Medical Research Council, which
asked him where he got the
children for his study. Another was
called by US anti-MMR campaigner Rep Dan
Burton, who chaired a congress committee.
Below he asks Wakefield squarely: "Who
funded your study?" The
minutes don't record any contract from
lawyers
