In the months
after a premeditated attack on the triple
measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, MMR,
by Andrew Wakefield in 1998, his department
was inundated with inquiries from anxious parents
of autistic children. With the reputation of the
medical school of the Royal Free hospital behind him,
these parents believed that Wakefield might have
answers for their families' tragedy. Eighteen
months after the coupon below
was issued, he was departed from his post at the
medical school "by mutual agreement"
