Here are
the first pages of a protocol document
submitted by Andrew Wakefield to the Royal Free's ethics
committee on February 2 1998 - before the
Lancet paper was published - setting out
plans for an uncontrolled trial of the
Wakefield remedy/vaccine described in patent documents. Among its many
curiosities is the absence of results of
a "clinical and
scientific study" reporting that no measles virus was found in the
children, but a claim [on the third page]
